Wednesday, September 30th

I was at home sick today, but the test is still tomorrow. You received the review packet in class today and the solutions / answers are posted below. All the major concepts are covered by the review packet. You will not see the exact questions on the test that you see on the review packet. The intent of the packet is to give you a sample of the possible questions you may see on the exam. If you understand the core concepts of the unit, you can answer all questions that have a major concept from the chapter as a theme. I will be monitoring the blog periodically tonight, so leave a question if you have one. Either I or someone else can answer your question. I will be at school around 6:45 tomorrow morning if you have any questions. Remember, tomorrow is Academic Thursday in Advisory, so come and see me during advisory if you have any questions. Study hard.

Monday, September 28th

The solutions to questions #6 and #8 are posted below. There is correction to the answers given on the back of the Calorimety worksheet. The answer shown for #2 is actually for #3 and the answer shown for #3 is actually for #2. You will receive a grade for completion of the worksheet, so please attempt all problems. Show some work even if you cannot finish a problem. Calorimetry will be a large portion of the exam this Thursday, October 1st, so take doing these type of problems and understanding the concepts very seriously.
