- Wave concepts were reviewed and refined. This included the relationship between wavelength and frequency (inverse) and the product of the two values being the velocity of a wave.
- We discussed light as a wave and demonstrations were offered to offer support that light travels as a wave, and thus follows all of the criteria of a mechanical wave (i.e. - a wave traveling through a spring).
- The relationship between frequency of a wave and enerygy was developed. The higher the frequency of a wave, the higher the energy.
