Below are the solutions to the packet on naming and writing compounds. Tomorrow you will be taking the diagnostic quiz on naming chemical compounds and writing chemical formulas. As you were told last week, you need to read Chapter 5. If you feel that you need more practice with naming and writing formula, you can choose problems that are given in the Chapter 4 and 5 Cumulative Review. I would suggest problems 26 through 31 on page 151. The answers to the problems can be found in the back of the book on page A38. All the information on how to write formulas and name compounds has been given to you. It is now your job to practice those skills until you are highly proficient.
