Below are the solutions to the Writing Ionic Compound Formulas worksheet. The second page with polyatomic ions, part of the last column was cut off. If you have any questions, I can show that in class. Also, there is a partial key to the packet given out on Friday. Remember, on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, there will be a diagnostic quiz that will go in your homework category on naming compounds and writing chemical formulas. On Friday, Nov. 6th, there will be a quiz that will go in your assessment category for naming compounds and writing chemical formulas. Before you try to write a formula or a name of a compound, you must first classify which type of compound you have.
